SG - Super Gas
Here is some information regarding Super Gas.
The class is designated for cars with fenders over all the wheels, hood, grill, roof, windshield and functionaly door -s. Sedans, sportscars, cupé, hgv, roadsters, vans and pickup´s allowed. Grill can be replaced with covering panel. Altereds without fenders, Dragsters and Funny Cars forbidden. Minimum weight incl. driver for eight cylinder engine 952 kg (2100 lbs.), six cylinder engine 748 kg (1650 lbs.) and four cylinder engine 544 kg (1200 lbs.).
Free car engine. Compressor, turbo, nitrous oxide allowed, not combinated. Original damper in cast iron not allowed. Damper according to SFI Spec. 18.1 or home made in solid steel obligatory. See DRT 1.2. From january first 2009 is lower engine protection obligatory. See DRT 1.11.
